Here's How It Works:
- All submissions go through a blind-review selection process by a committee.
- Acceptance emails are sent to selected presenters when the review process is complete.
- Presenters and co-presenters are asked to register for Inspire Loudoun.
- Keep an eye out for important email updates. You will be asked to provide handouts, materials, and your presentation slides in advance.
- Register and attend Inspire Loudoun 2024.
Choose Your Presentation Format
Demonstration of a Tool or Program:
Presenter(s) shows attendees a best practice/tool/program, but attendees do not have the opportunity to work with it during the session.
Your Hands-on Workshop:
Attendees will be working directly with the program/tool/etc.
Make and Take:
Presenter will help teachers develop something so they will leave the session with a completed product.
Student Presentation:
Student(s) from presenter’s school present their work (i.e. Geek Squad, experience with group project, etc.)
Write an Amazing Title
- Keywords: Use relevant keywords related to your topic, this will help your presentation to be easily discoverable.
- Conciseness: Keep the title short and to the point, aim for 6 to 8 words.
- Creativity: Make the title catchy and memorable, it should grab the attention of your audience.
For a Detailed Description
- Provide context: Give background information and context for your topic.
- Outline the content: Detail key points you’ll be covering in your presentation.
- Address specific issues: Identify any challenges or obstacles related to your topic, and how you will address them.
- Include learning objectives: Specify what attendees can expect to earn from your presentation.
- Use active and engaging language: Make the detailed description engaging and easy to read, using clear and concise language.
